SUPPORT OUR WORK

Macaulay College is Community Interest Company with charitable aims. We are very fortunate to receive community support in various forms e.g. volunteers who helped plant the woodland area, establishing our gym through equipment donations, a donation of band saw for craft work as well as monetary donations.

As a not-for-profit organisation we positively welcome your donations and financial support which means we can reach many more people with additional support needs in our local community.

If you would like to support our work with a one-off or regular monthly financial donation you can do that here. Our students and staff really appreciate every donated amount, as it goes to improving the lives of everyone at Macaulay College.

You can also support us by buying from our honesty box (located on the farm at the end of the Arnish Road just outside Stornoway), and liking and sharing our posts on social media.

Can buy arts and crafts materials for a student so they can make art work, decorations and other crafts, either to keep or sell.

Can buy compost, seeds and plants so the students can grow the fruit and vegetables needed to make our lovely chutneys and jams.

Can pay for a trip out or activity for a student, enabling them to have both a sense of independence and of being part of their community.

In 2019 Stramash Music Festival donated proceeds to us, which we used to purchase a 2nd hand wheelchair accessible car, meaning that a student with restricted mobility could access all farm areas as well as trips locally.
